A WARM WELCOME TO ST. MICHAEL’S SCHOOL!

On behalf of all in St. Michael’s, I am delighted to welcome you to our school this evening and I hope you will enjoy your tour around the different departments.

With our Deputy Headteachers, Mrs. Birkett and Mr. White, and Head of Year 7, Mr. Matthews, I will spend most of the evening in or around the school’s main entrance hall. We will be available and pleased to answer any questions you might have.

St. Michael’s is a school with reputations for very good academic achievement and for sound discipline and I feel that this results from strong partnerships between all who have interests in the education of our children. We are fortunate to have very highly-qualified and committed teaching staff at St. Michael’s and their work is supported by the many members of our non-teaching staff, our governors and, most importantly, by parents who want the best for their children.

This results in a safe, caring and Christian environment for our pupils and they are encouraged to develop their academic and other abilities to the full by participating in a stimulating curriculum and by taking advantage of the wide variety of extra-curricular opportunities offered to them.
