Using the template of a newspaper provided, you need to produce a front page of a newspaper the day after Mt Etna erupted.

 

Use the following web sites to gather pictures, map, stories and information. Or use a suitable search engine such as GOOGLE. Remember your newspaper needs to be colourful, interesting and accurate. Use the years given in the textbook for when Mt Etna erupted but you will need to make up the month and day. Or you could do an eruption in the future. Remember Mt Etna erupts about very 10 years.

Include on your front page an article about what a volcano is. After any disaster newspapers will always include a short article explaining what caused the disaster. E.g. a flood, tornado or earthquake. You can use the textbook for this or use the Internet
